Closets from Heaven

Saturday, Christine and I went on our twice a year fashion hunt. We bargin shop, spend too much and have a really great time. She keeps me fashionable, young, makes me think about my diet, and realize just what a fantastic daughter I have. We had a special mission this trip, shopping for a friends wedding. I found the perfect dress for a friday afternoon ceramony, with a fun sweater to throw over my sholders at Anthropology. Found the perfect shoes, necklace and earings at Nordstroms Then hit a home run at Forever 21 for my clutch ( only $17.99).





OK, now the next part: I go to hang up my new dress, look around and sigh. My closet is sad, needing an update, needing better use of space. It's kind of like when I have a fresh bunch of zinnias for my table. I immediately clean my whole downstairs. So I started to research closet ideas. Elle Decor had a spread on "Best Dressed Closets" a little to grand for me. I do have a very large space, about the size of a small bedroom. This is not planed or use to it's best.


I like this closet, it's open, good natural light and I love the nude painting. Just cannot see Spike on a tufted ottoman.

I like color but this feels depressing to me.


I could never be this organized..... I would have the lid off every box.

Then I found it, my dream space. fun, colorful, and I could move in. This space is compliments of Cote de Texas blog. I believe it is her sister in laws. I need to meet her. I think we could be best friends or at least share jewelry.I have a passion for funky costume jewelry,and South West silver. This makes me sick with envy.

I only own two pairs.......I would have trouble hiding a mirror like this in the closet, may have to bring downstairs.

Now I need to get to work, or B.C. has to buy me lots of presents.
